Kim Kardashian Gets A New Look for the New Year
Many are predicting that the Kardashian klan will disappear in 2012, but leave it to Kim to remain relevant. The middle Kardashian sister arrived at a Tao New Year's Eve event wearing a long-sleeved white Gucci mini dress with an embellished neckline and keyhole cut-out.
What else did Kim accessorize with? Oh, new bangs! Reporting on every thing a Kardashian does can get monotonous, but I am overjoyed that Kim decided to do some NEW with her hair. It's time to leave those long mermaid locks, however beautiful, in the past. Move on, girl and make a permanent change (Remember when she just fooled us with a blonde wig?).
What do you think of Kim's new bangs? Also, does she kind of looks like Karina Smirnoff now, or is that just me?

Being an Editor is Pretty Awesome
I have some very exciting news for you all! As you may not know, on the side, I'm a freelance conceptual editor for fiction novels. My first project, ESTRA Corp., is now available for purchase! Here's a summary of the science fiction novel:
When Marc wakes up without his memory, he is thrown into a world out to get him. A world led by Jack Estra, who is hellbent on capturing Marc: the perfect specimen for his elitist serum.
Marc must team up with the refugee forces to remove Jack from power. They search for a new future where they don’t have to fear mutant attacks from the sector borders and don’t have to fear being kidnapped for some high-risk genetic test to be cloned to build a super army.

ESTRA Corp. is Christopher Stocking's first novel, and let me tell you people, it is awesome! It has action, love, mutants, and some kick-ass soldiers. You can buy it on Lulu for $16.44, and you can read the author's blog, Write to Perfect, here.
BRB, buying fifty copies for me and everyone I know.

Pining for Polish
When I was at Ulta the other day, this nail polish jumped out at me. If I hadn’t been getting $20 dry shampoo, I probably would’ve bought it.
Bobbing for Baubles is “a deepest, darkest sapphire” from Essie’s winter collection. It’s like a really dark, matte navy, a nice transition from the bright sparkles we gravitate to during the holidays. Would you wear this shade?
