This seems really out of character for the outfits I normally post, but I would definitely wear this. In fact, it looks a lot like some of the looks I rock in the summer. I have a bracelet very similar to this one, only in teal, and I love my studded leather boots.

Do You Use a Glass Nail File?

I was reading a nail blog the other day and the writer mentioned that she only files her nails with a glass file. If you're like me, you read that statement and went, "Huh? What is a glass file?"

Apparently, it's just like what it sounds like (a nail file made of glass) and they come in pretty colors. Since glass files have a smoother edge, they don't cause your nails to peel and splinter like metal and emery files do, which is a problem for me.

Glass files don't cost more than your typical file, so it won't break the bank to switch. I think I'll pick one up. You can get them at beauty stores and places like Bed Bath & Beyond. Have you ever used a glass file?

Woah, What Do You Mean Taylor Swift Isn't in Les Mis Anymore?

Director Tom Hooper (The King's Speech) is making a much anticipated star-studded adaption of the musical Les Miserables. The film has names like Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman, Helena Bonham Carter, and Anne Hathaway attached. At one point, Taylor Swift was included in that list, but not anymore.

Samantha Barks will be playing the role of Eponine, putting to bed all "rumors" that T. Swizzle was cast. While Samantha is new to the silver screen, she's no stranger to the stage. She even starred as Eponine once before in the 2010 London production. [via]

This is not the first time that the role has switched actresses. Earlier reports stated that Lea Michele was the front runner for Eponine. Scarlett Johansson and Evan Rachel Wood were also considered. [via]

Am I upset that Taylor won't be in the movie? I'm not sure. Seeing her act is still a new frontier for me, despite her cameo in Valentine's Day and Saturday Night Live gig. Could she have rocked it? Yeah, she certainly could have, but maybe there's a better opportunity waiting.

Selena Gomez Covers Cosmo

A lot of people were in uproar about Dakota Fanning posing for Cosmopolitan's February cover, but so far, no one seems to mind seeing Selena Gomez on the March issue.

The (former?) 19-year-old Disney Queen graces the cover of the infamous magazine and talks about what else, her love for the Biebs. That in itself is innocent enough, but it still freaks me out to see a girl with such a sweet reputation next to those headlines. I mean, Miley hasn't even been on the cover of Cosmo!

Do you find it weird to see Selena Gomez in Cosmo?
