Mary Poppins author, P.L. Travers to work with the Mouse.
The movie, currently titled
Saving Mr. Banks, would follow the fourteen years Walt spent convincing Travers to sell her rights and let him make her books into a film. But a large portion would be spent on Travers' connection to her magical nanny, since the original
Mary Poppins was a very personal piece of work.
So who is rumored to be in this film? Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep! Yes, you read that right. Two of my favorite actors playing one of my idols and a woman who ended up hating Disney (I'll try to let it go, Meryl). What do you think of this new movie? [
